
About me
Junyu is currently an Eng.D. candidate at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), under the supervision of Prof. Yi Wang. Prior to this, he obtained his B.E. from the Department of Computer Science and Technology at China University of Petroleum (East China), where he was advised by Prof. Tao Song. He was born and raised in Linyi, Shandong Province, China.
Research Interests
Keywords: Computer Networks (Esp., Data Center Networks, Programmable Data Plane), Applied AI (Esp., AI For Networking/Sustainability)
He has recently focused on applying AI for real-world systems (e.g., data centers, large offical buildings), such as the use of AI for packet classification in high-performance networks, as well as deep reinforcement learning and LLM agents for building energy optimization.
By the way, his Eng.D. topic mainly focuses on the computing power networks. His mission is trying to do something that is practical and applicable to existing network systems.

- Nov. 2024: Our paper on NILM system deployment won the Best Paper Award of SustainCom'24. This is my first paper award🥺.
- Sep. 2024: Our work on NILM systems got accepted to SustainCom'24.
